Oh Blog

I was writing like crazy yesterday. (Beats plowing thru county job applications). I wrote this crazy essay/commentary about male sexuality in films. I was under the influence of an Odwalla Immune Enhancer, caffeine and NyQuil at the time but, I may submit it to Malamute's the Dog Pile anyhoo ...

Then, I cycled down to SoDo. Next, I dragged my bike three miles up Jackson Street thru the International District till I hit Madrona. Then I coasted down to Madrona Park, toyed with the idea of swimming but, alas, had my digicam and all my gear with me so then just took the #2 bus home. Today my foot HURTS, damnit.

Here I perch with a puffed up foot and puffed up lymph nodes. I'm fighting some sort of sinus/mono/flu crap courtesy a Typhoid Mary at work. Chit man, I have NO immune system.

Here's a pic of summer life in Seattle. It's hot and fuzzy around the edges.

Oh, and someone I went to UNR with, James Welborn, who is now rich and working in Boston, just had a baby. Here's James & Son.

This is Lake Washington from Madrona Park looking east toward Kirkland ... I think. The brown thing in the water is a Labrador and the pink things are people.

In other news, my car decided to develop a broken driver's seat today JUST IN TIME for my ad to start running. The power steering pump now goes BWAAA! and the seat goes EEEKKYY! EEEKY! I'm trying to sell it before it kills me.
